Our Lives in Pictures

The entirety of my kitchen, half of my daughter's room and all over my office, on my computer screen, in my husband's screen saver and more are all family pictures, particularly focusing on our daughter. We have pictures of most of the major moments in her life, including holidays and more.

We capture these moments in our life and in our child's life in pictures. We can look back at them and see their first hour after their birth. We can see their first ride in the car when we took them home. We can see their first Christmas. We can see their first laugh, their first tooth, their first step and much, much more.

I love to look at my walls of pictures and to watch the screensaver play the slideshows of her playing in the park the first time. I love seeing her hug her Charo dog to herself for a photograph taken just before her second birthday. She still loves this dog and sleeps with him every night.

These are moments that come once in a lifetime. Once they are gone, you will not get a chance to revisit them again. I've talked about these milestones here before, but whether you have a digital camera or a disposable one or a high powered 35 mm. Be prepared to give it a good workout and keep your life in pictures - because one day they are going to be committing to a life with a spouse and you'll still have their life in pictures to look back on.
