For our newborn Americans, those born today share a date of notable distinction with the U.S. Flag. In 1777, the U.S. flag was flown in battle for the first time, during a Revolutionary War skirmish at Cooch's Bridge, Delaware. It's hard to think that the United States wasn't always here, but next year on September 3, 2007 will be the 230th birthday of flying the U.S. flag. History is great fun and very fascinating especially if you are creating a baby book you can decorate it with historical facts and bits and bytes of information. While it's not necessarily about your baby, it does address a great way to fill your baby book with anecdotal notes, images and other where were they and where are they now types of fun. For me, this is a good choice. - do you have similar types of information in your baby's baby book?
