A couple of my favorites are Sandra Boynton's Red Hat, Green Hat; and That's Not My Bunny! from Usborne Books (there's a series of these touch and feel books). Valorie Delp (49340) 21 Nov 2006 05:07 PMI am a big fan of illustrated nursery rhymes and/or songs. We have a book for "Hush Little Baby" and it is beautiful. We have several others too but that's the kids' favorite. Great blog Heather! Lisa P (24013) 23 Nov 2006 10:55 AMMy son's first word was "Freya", the name of our German Shepherd (actually, it was "eya", but he was pointing at her so we knew what he was saying without the "F" and "R" sounds.) He had a complete library before he was born but one book always stood out: "That's Not My Puppy". He still loves it.
