FDA Warns Against Using Nipple Cream

The FDA has issued a warning against Mommy’s Bliss Nipple Cream on Friday, May 23. The FDA discourages mothers from using the cream saying that two ingredients within the cream could cause diarrhea, respiratory problems and vomiting in infants. The FDA Warning The ingredients named as problematic in the cream are chlorphenesin, phenoxyethanol. According to the FDA, the interaction between these ingredients is also troublesome and can exacerbate symptoms. In the midst of a horrible cold and flu season this year, the FDA re-issues the same warning that they made last October. . .DON’T give your children under two years of age, cold medicine.
