Adolf Hitler Denied Birthday Cake

cake What if you were only three and your name sparked revulsion everywhere you went? That seems to be the case for little Adolf Hitler Campbell, a cute little blonde boy with big eyes who was denied a birthday cake at a local New Jersey Shoprite because the employees did not want to write his name on his birthday cake.

The parents of the little boy are upset about the decision made by the supermarket and can't seem to understand why the store would refuse to fill their order for a birthday cake. They also seem upset and surprised to find that there are a number of negative Internet postings about them after the story was printed in a local paper.

The parents of little Adolf also wanted the cake to be decorated with a swastika for decoration. The Shoprite said that they retain the right not to write or print anything on a cake that they deem inappropriate. The Campbell's subsequently got their cake order filled at a Wal-Mart in my home state of Pennsylvania.

The bigger question to me is why on earth would you want to name your child, a precious little life, on a man responsibly for one of the worst horrors in our history--a man responsible for so much death and suffering? Mr. Campbell's told the Associated Press that they chose the name because they liked it and knew that no one else in the world would have the same name. Uh buddy? There is a good reason for that.

The Campbells say that they aren't racist, but something else is going on here. The names of their other two children? JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell. Mr. Campbell is of German decent and says he was raised not to mix with people of other races.

Hmm, I wonder if they voted for Barack Obama?

Every now and then you run into people who should not be allowed to have kids... this couple are definitely candidates.

Can you imagine what that child will have to grow up with?

drnewmom (307) 17 Dec 2008 07:45 PM

I think it would be the ultimate "justice" if the children change their names when they come of legal age.

You've got to be kidding me. . .

Unfortunately, they will be growing up with the values of the parents, presumably to be proud of their names. Yech.

Those children are going to be ridiculed and ostracized no matter what their personal beliefs, due to such a poor decision on the part of their parents.

Surely if they were racist their daughter wouldn't be called JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell as the Aryan Nation were the party against Nazi's.

Yup Samual!

The sad thing, Jap, is that they will probably find like-minded people that reinforce their skewed beliefs.

Whether it's making new friends or applying for a payday loan, this kid is going to have it rough. Adolph Hitler Campbell recently turned 3 and he is already being turned down because of his name. Apparently, a grocery store in New Jersey turned down his mother's requested service because they refused to put "Happy Birthday Adolph Hitler" on his cake. Fortunately, Deborah Campbell, along with her husband Heath Campbell, were able to obtain the birthday cake at their local Wal-Mart. The kid's father insists that they are not racist, despite the swastikas that decorate their house and the names they have also chosen for their two other children; JoyceLynn Aryan Nation and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie. The kid's father continues to defend his choice of name for his son, and also claims that their guests consist of mixed races. One thing is for sure, little Adolph will encounter a lot of unfriendly remarks, possibly worse, because of his name. To read more about Adolph and a payday loan, click here.

Yes, that is the story I wrote about, BradenK
